This is a challenging time for many, and the response from the mindfulness community has been heartening. We are delighted to be a part of that response by providing two new online resources we hope will be of benefit to many experiencing the trials of social distancing:
Online InSpire meetings: InSpire meetings are gatherings of mindfulness practitioners of all levels of experience, sharing practices and discussing how their practices relate to their lives. These meetings are an opportunity to deepen connection through mindful community. We have moved all our meetings online, and added an extra one too. You are welcome to join as many meetings as you like, just be sure to register first. We have meetings at the following times (EDT):
- Thursdays @ 8am
- Fridays @ 2pm
- Saturdays @ 10am
- Sundays @ 6:30pm
- And if none of these times work for you, don’t fret! We should be adding more meetings soon. Please let us know when you are available to meet by completing this one-question anonymous poll.
Online mindfulness activities calendar: Our InSpire meetings are just the tip of the online mindfulness iceberg. There are plenty of online offerings springing up all over the place, and we want to share them with you. So we’re compiling an online mindfulness activities calendar that you can refer to at any time you feel like some mindful community may be helpful. And if you know of any activities we’re missing, please let us know!
We also have a great list of mindfulness-related podcasts and other media, and a list of online mindfulness resources for you to peruse at your leisure.
May you enjoy mindful connection during this time of social distancing, and may it help make your homestay worthwhile.
