Mindfulness is the art of conscious living and being in the present moment; that is, the intentional attending to what is happening right now without judgment or reactivity. Mindfulness enables you to know yourself on deeper and deeper levels and to see things with greater clarity. As you increase your knowledge of self, you develop a new relationship with the causes of stress in your life, leading you to a sense of calm or peace, wellness, and happiness.
Through mindfulness we can experience the joy of being fully present in our everyday lives, learn from difficult times, and be open to compassion for ourselves and others. Mindfulness can be part of the foundation of a life lived gracefully, responsibly, and skillfully.
