Job Overview:
We’re hiring a part-time InSpire Coordinator to expand and oversee our InSpire small group mindfulness gatherings. The role involves coordinating existing groups and developing strategies to increase their number. We seek someone with a deep understanding of mindfulness practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to nurture a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Identify locations, train facilitators, and establish new InSpire groups.
- Group Coordination: Organize and manage multiple InSpire gatherings, supporting facilitators and ensuring continual improvement of InSpire sessions.
- Facilitation: Lead InSpire gatherings when necessary, fostering engagement and self-awareness, as per the methodology outlined in the InSpire Facilitators’ Guide.
- Participant Engagement: Encourage active participation and open communication among participants and facilitators.
- Education and Guidance: Provide materials and support to facilitators to enhance their skills.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Gather and implement feedback to improve the overall InSpire experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage logistics such as scheduling, web updates, social media, and other communication.
- InSpire Council: Facilitate monthly InSpire Council gatherings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in InSpire or similar small group processes.
- Strong understanding of mindfulness principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability to meet diverse needs.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach.
- Organizational skills.
- Certification in mindfulness or related fields is a plus.
