Karin Grosshans presents the donation to Jamie Reygle
We wish to offer a deep bow of gratitude to Skyline National Bank for their generous donation towards InStill’s InSchools Faculty Mindfulness program.
The InSchools program provides in-depth mindfulness training to faculty in the region’s public schools, giving them valuable stress reduction and attention skills.
We piloted this program in the 2017-’18 school year in three cohorts in Floyd and Montgomery County Public Schools, and we’re looking to expand the program to four cohorts this coming school year.
Skyline National Bank is supportive of this program because it aligns with their values. Skyline Vice President and Floyd Branch Manager Karin Grosshans said, “I think everybody can benefit from mindfulness, no matter what profession you’re in or what walk of life you’re in. I just think it’s a good thing.”
InStill Executive Director Jamie Reygle said, “As a Floyd-based organization focused on Southwest Virginia, we are rapt to receive this support from an organization with similar origins and focus. Skyline is a vital part of this community, and this support will benefit hundreds of local students this year and into the future.”
