Jim Borling

Jim Borling, MM, MT-BC is a Professor Emeritus of Music, and former Director of Music Therapy at Radford University. He is a Board Certified Music Therapist and a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery, receiving his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from DePauw University, and his Master of Music degree in Music Therapy from the University of Miami. Currently, Jim provides music therapy services for Anderson & Associates, and for Avenues to Recovery’s Intensive Outpatient Programs for adults and adolescents recovering from addiction. He has worked extensively for the American Music Therapy Association and the Certification Board for Music Therapists. Along with his wife Nannette, Jim is co-founder of a clinical private practice called MusicVisions, LLC, where he specializes in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music.
