Event Series: Being With Loss

This gathering is designed to provide a safe and supportive setting to connect with others who have experienced a loss, and to learn effective coping strategies.

Grief process

The group has educational and reflective elements, to provide you with a better understanding of what grief is (including secondary losses), how grief can be processed, and approaches for healing.

Some of the group goals include:

  • acknowledge and validate grief,
  • observe emotions,
  • reduce emotional and social isolation,
  • adjust to the loss,
  • develop healthy coping skills,
  • foster resilience,
  • discover hope and empowerment, and
  • connection with community.

The group will meet every other Monday from 6-7:30pm at the InStill Center for Wellbeing in Pulaski. The group will begin on Monday, September 15.

This is an open-ended group, all are welcome! There is no cost to attend the group, but donations are welcome.
