May(k) It Count

A month of mindfulness-based self-care offerings

Have you given yourself an opportunity to stop and smell the roses this Spring? Have you spent time outdoors simply enjoying the changes in the weather and the scenery? Have you enjoyed deep moments of connection with friends and loved ones? Have you savored the miracle of life that makes itself so clearly evident at this time of year?

InStill is dedicating the month of May – Mental Health Awareness Month – to self-care. We are offering over 70 events and activities designed to give you as much access to self-care as possible.

Because self-care isn’t just about you. Self-care is about the people around you and the world you live in, because when you start to take care of you, it becomes much easier – necessary, even – to take care of your environment. Want to be surrounded by happy people? Give them reasons to be happy. Want to live safely and comfortably? Foster conditions that make that more possible. It starts with you and it ends with all of us.

How is your mindful self-care going?

Join in the conversation in our online community.

The events and activities we are offering, like everything we do, are primarily offered free of charge. We make our offerings free to all members of the public, whenever possible, to support our vision of Cultivating a Mindful World for All.

And our work to create and host such events is not free for us: we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means that we exist primarily through charitable giving. Your donations help us continue to exist and to thrive, and to be able to offer meditation and mindfulness programs every day of the calendar year.

We are excited to announce a $7,000 matching challenge from a longtime supporter, who will match you—dollar for dollar—for the first $7,000 raised in this campaign!

All are welcome to attend our offerings. Your support will help us continue to keep as many of them as possible free to attend, so they are accessible to all peoples and groups.

Here’s what’s available to you throughout May. Please join us as often as you can!

Please note that all events are in Eastern time.

2026 Business & Organizational Giving Appeal
Building a Healthier, More Resilient Pulaski

Who We Are
InStill Mindfulness is a nonprofit located in the Town of Pulaski, serving all of Pulaski County, with a Mission to Cultivate a Mindful World for All, with Kindness, Compassion and Care, through Education, Action and Community.

Mindfulness is a practice of being present, non-judgmental, and self-aware. Benefits include stress reduction, improved focus, reduced depression and increased creativity. Our InSpire gatherings, Daily Meditations, Retreats, Wellness Programs and Lending Library give community members emotional regulation and resilience tools, which foster better relationships and habits.

Action through Service at the heart of our Mission. We provide tailor-made classes in the community, and at the InStill Center for Wellbeing in downtown Pulaski, we host a range of free classes and workshops that address grief, stress, and recovery. Our team of Peer Recovery Specialists use lived experience to support community members, with resources, referrals, and basic needs, encouraging recovery through developing emotional resilience and mental wellness. As people recover, they are more able to contribute to our community, benefiting everyone here in Pulaski and beyond.

In recognition of our growing impact and leadership, InStill was honored as Non-Profit of the Year by the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce in 2025.

Why This Matters—Now
Like many people, Pulaski residents are confronted by myriad societal and economic challenges. Struggles with grief, overwhelm, disconnection, homelessness, mental health, and substance use disorder impact us all.

InStill responds by providing accessible, practical programming designed to help people address these issues. To meet this need responsibly and sustainably, we are building a stronger base of local philanthropic support.

The Opportunity for Local Businesses: An Invitation to Partner
Our first annual Pulaski Business & Organizational Giving Appeal invites local enterprises to partner with us in strengthening community well-being. Healthier people create healthier workplaces, leading to a stronger Pulaski.

Together, we can build a more resilient, compassionate, thriving community.

Your support:

  • Keeps essential mindfulness and wellness programs accessible in Pulaski.
  • Helps stabilize and grow a trusted local nonprofit.
  • Demonstrates your organization’s commitment to employee and community health.
  • Invests directly in the long-term resilience of our local workforce and families.
  • Benefits your business by creating a stronger workforce and clientele.

How Funds Will Be Used:

  • Expansion and sustainability of programs at the InStill Center for Wellbeing, including InSpire, Grief Support groups, Creative Expressions, I’m Still Here, Sound Baths, and Mindful Movement.
  • Outreach to underserved populations.
  • More program staff and infrastructure to meet growing demand.
  • Long-term organizational stability and impact.

How You Can Participate
Businesses and organizations are invited to contribute in a meaningful way. Philanthropic gifts can include:

  • One-time philanthropic contributions.
  • Annual commitments aligned with this and future campaigns.

Larger gifts may be made in installments.

Leadership-level donors will be recognized (with permission) as Community or Sustaining Partners of InStill.

A generous donor has provided a $20,000 match, so every donation will effectively be doubled!

Thank you for your leadership and support.

Saturday InSpire online

April 25 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

We look forward to joining you for Saturday InSpire online, which you can access through this Zoom link.

This group is for new and seasoned meditation practitioners wishing to enjoy the support and camaraderie of others. Join us to ground and stabilize the frenetic energies of the planet and our own minds. Topics change weekly and often shift with the flow of conversation. We cultivate a friendly, open-and-learning atmosphere, while understanding there is no ‘place’ to arrive other than right ‘now’.  Guided meditations focus primarily on present moment awareness of breath and senses, ending with a silent wish/prayer for the world or, for ourselves.

This is our way of building deep connection – with ourselves, one another, and the wider community.

We look forward to connecting with you soon!
