Leslie Mathews is a self taught artist and poet deeply rooted in her connection with the Earth. Her work arises out of a fusion from her experiences with meditative and contemplative practice and as an Art + Architecture Librarian and outdoor educator. She has decided to dedicate herself to bringing joy to others through arts and nature connection experiences. She has pursued education through various classes from such diverse institutions as Cornell University’s Civic Ecology Lab and Yale’s Peabody Museum natural science illustration program. She guides nature connection classes online and in person.
