Chad Fox was born and raised in Pulaski County. He graduated from Pulaski County High School; attended Virginia Tech and New River Community College, and received his bachelor's degree from Radford University. Chad's role as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist at New River Community College is to relate to students about substance use, mental health, and any other areas of their lives where some improvement is desired, through advocacy, goal setting, mindfulness techniques, resources and engagement with the NRV Recovery Ecosystem. He is honored to be a part of the tremendous strides the NRV is taking to develop a recovery friendly ecosystem.
