InStill Mindfulness SWVA offers a range of services to people and organizations in southwest Virginia, including:
InSchools: After several years developing a program primarily for students, we delivered nearly 300 classes in Montgomery middle schools in the spring semester of 2017. This intensive programming helped us realize the importance of teaching faculty directly, as it is a far more effective and efficient means to reach a large number of students on an ongoing basis. To this end, we now deliver our own curriculum – completely free-of-charge – to faculty in the region’s public schools, and for a fee at other institutions. Our InSchools programming is supported by Pure Edge and the Frederick P. Lenz Foundation.
InSight: We offer a range of classes and retreats for the general public. Visit our Schedule page for upcoming events.
InStore: We design and deliver programming to private businesses and other organizations, specifically catering to each organization’s expressed needs.
InSide: We are intent of delivering our programming – inspired and informed by the Prison Mindfulness Institute‘s Path of Freedom curriculum – to as many people in the criminal justice system as possible. Currently, we are presenting this programming to teens on probation, through the Department of Juvenile Justice.
